Hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption helps protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to tape cartridges. LTFS, an open format for storing data, makes tape media self-describing and file-based for easy access and management. Data rate matching dynamically adjusts the drive to the host system speed, helping maintain continuous streaming and optimize performance.
